She began her career in the world of motion pictures as a production assistant, quickly becoming the person productions relied on to keep shoots moving. Over the years, Melissa expanded into multiple on-set roles, including production stills and behind-the-scenes photography. Working closely with directors, cinematographers, and department heads gave her an instinctive understanding of timing, composition, and how to capture authentic moments without disrupting the flow of a set.
